YLE Studios 1 ja 2, Mediapolis

Yle, located in Mediapolis in Tohlopi, Tampere, also rents out its facilities to external parties. Yle’s studios are fully equipped production environments for all kinds of needs. Mediapolis’ production technology is built around the Riedel Mediornet network. The necessary setup can be formed from various control rooms required for productions. With tungsten lights, telescopes, point lifts, and 360-degree curtains (black, white), a fully equipped studio is created that can utilize all of Mediapolis’ technical resources and production services (source: mediapolis.fi). When filming at Mediapolis, it is also possible to take advantage of Mediapolis’ lunch restaurant, parking lot, restroom and break facilities, and other open amenities.
